SMURFS

Consulted and animated on this claymation sequence for the 2025 Smurfs movie at Screen Novelties, alongside Colin Lepper.

Pinocchio

I was hired as an additional animator on Pinocchio and animated the 3 scenes below.

Magical Cat

A short claymation series about a "magical" cat! My wife Alexis builds and designs the sets while I designed the character, animate, and setup the lights & camera. The cat is simply a lump of leftover clay with hard eyes and a nose.

Flumpy

My wife and I have our own little stop-motion company called Threadwood LLC. The small projects we do allow me to animate with clay which is incredibly labor intensive but hugely rewarding! Here's a short looping animation we made with clay for a monthly animation competition.

SYFY BUMPER

My wife and I created this logo animation for the SYFY network through Tongal.

Robot Chicken DC Comics Special

This sketch earned me my first Emmy! The voice read was strong enough that I was able to instantly develop the character in my mind and come up with these mannerisms, expressions, etc. to match the personality and delivery of the dialogue.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom

I was the lead animator on this special and got to work with unique puppets with all sorts of replacement parts developed by Screen Novelties. It was a fun challenge to study an established 2D character like SpongeBob and translate him to stop-motion without losing the simplicity of the 2D style.

Spider vs. the Living Dead

This is a short project that my wife and I developed under our banner, Threadwood, for no other reason than to try some new clay puppet ideas and release something on Halloween. I've always been a fan of older horror moves with that distorted audio and wacky gore!

LYNN: 11SecondClub.com

I created this short character study for the popular character animation site 11secondclub.com. They provide an audio sample and animators from around the world use CG, 2D, and stop-motion to create characters for that sample. For this challenge I created a fully clay puppet to both exercise my clay animation skills and try some new clay techniques I had been thinking about for a while.

Friendship All-Stars of Friendship

This was a great project to work on. Such a goofy concept! I was allowed to animate this entire episode and work with some awesome dialogue and puppets.

2015 Demo Reel

My old animation reel.

2D Work

I don't create 2D animation that often, but I do enjoy it!
