Sometimes clay gets too soft while I'm sculpting. So I stick it in the freezer for a bit to make it firm again. When I pull it out it starts sweating, but that's no big deal.

I've been working on new comic strips after a full year of not doing them. I also finished putting my Demo Reel together. It's all stuff I did in 2011. I should probably make my own music track for it. In conclusion, here is PMurphy's dog Gunther doing a funny kick after peeing somewhere in Portland. Made it to the Hot One Inch Action show in Portland. They posted some pics. Also here is the "Making of" the Dorito animation. And here's this video to put you in a good mood. I know it puts me in a good mood. Made this for that awesome dumb running sonic website.
Hooray! I've made it into the awesome annual button-swapping show, "Hot One Inch Action". My sloth button design will be on the walls of the Hand Eye Supply gallery and in the fists of Portland people on December 1st.
I wanted to devote some time to my other, less explored craft: stop-motion animation. Animateclay.com holds a monthly animation challenge so I decided to enter. I made this clay character on a ball & socket armature and spent a few days animating only to miss the deadline. It still made the front page of some cool websites though.
