If you want to have a super fun time sketching, buy a brush pen and some really slick paper. 

I've been animating a personal project for a few days. Here's the setup. It's almost the same as when I did the Dorito animation.

Sometimes when I'm sculpting or animating with clay, it gets too soft. Van Aken is worse than Newplast in this regard. Even though I'm using Newplast for this character, he started to get really soft as I was sculpting. So I stuck him in the freezer to harden him back up. It works great, although the clay tends to sweat after it's removed:

Knows me too well.

My friend got me this great book on Pantone colors. I chose my favorites and made a new Photoshop swatches library. Sweet!

Proof that I've been working on new comic strips after a full year of not doing them. New layout, new storyline (kind of).

There's more where that came from. I also finished putting my Demo Reel together. It's all stuff I did in 2011. I should probably make my own music track for it, the song is "Casio Daisy" by Gold Panda.
